Does anyone know if the roof bar system from the convertible (the one that fixes from just above the rear lights all the way over onto the roof above the front doors), would fit a regular MK1 5dr?

If so,am I right in thinking the load rating of this system is 75kgs?

I currently have no roof bars fitted, so it would be a neat job.

Any thoughts.

ps, if it would fit, does anyone have one they want to off load? Or know where I might get one?

no they don't fit. 5 door had a different system which bolts through the roof at the front and the back.
