So another question then, would the gearbox on my motor be the original 110 one or would it have got the one from the 200tdi? And, as the 200tdi engine came out of a Range Rover does that make it the same 200tdi that's in the Discovery's or the 200tdi from a Defender?

Your gearbox is almost def the LT77 original, unless someones changed it to another LT77 as the disco one only fits if you are happy with a gearstick where the middle seat is..

As for the engine i'd need to see a picture..but i need to sleep an hour now before work...post one up, someone will recognise it.

Excellent, thanks mate, another piece of the puzzle falls into place. Do they (anyone) do a service kit for the turbo?

Would I be right in saying that the turbo for this engine is the Garrett T25? If so, would it be the dynamic or carbon seal type?
