I am having a Land rover meet in Congleton cheshire cw122lr at Clonter opera.26th january ,only 21 days to go.
Please look up on facebook under congleton land rover meet .
you can come and sell your landy stuff at the meet .

I am looking to cover the cost of the venue so there is a £5 per vehicle charge this time and £20 for a stall pitch.

I have no idea what spamming is but this is a non profit meeting of like minded people .i did one last year and it went very well.i am sorry for the offence.

If you were trying to drum up interest for a free event then the natives wouldn't be so upset.

The fact that you're advertising a pay-to-attend event on our forum without speaking to the site owners is frowned upon.

No offence taken here, I like it that we got somewhere to take Freelander owners so the can groom themselves up some fresh meat whilst passing themselves off as Land Rover owners :)

Meh....is anyone that bothered?

@bamb1000 how many vehicles last year? Genuinely non profit?

We did advertise LZ gatherings on other forums, though I did take the time to contact Mods beforehand. I don't recall anyone saying no

Suppose I should go but I'd love to hear a previous attendance record

Oh that's pretty good

Over the day for my first meet last year i had about 100 land rovers turn up all shapes and sizes.
I hired a local village hall and i had to make people park at a nearby farm shop as the venue was too small.
This year i have hired a very large venue of which i am hoping to grow into over the years to come.
Hope this helps.

As for non profit ,rest assured this will cost me money

They always do.

I want to do a camping weekend for a few of us who are regulars and put out an open invite, we'll see, only just back on the road after a marathon rebuild so want a bit of time driving it to settle everything down.
