Hi there,

I've got 1987 Land Rover 90 CSW With thr original V8, the block number says 24GxxxxxA but the v5c has the suffix H instead of A.

Is this a factory typo (the heritage certificate says H as well.

Not sure what the suffix denotes.

Many thanks

Did you ever find out anything about this? I’m in the same boat with my 1989 110 with the 24G V8. The engine number is exactly the same except my V5 says it is suffix C and the British Heritage certificate says C as well, but it is actually a suffix B.

There is no way it had the engine swapped with the same engine number and different suffix.

Thanks for any information to help fix this.
