Thanx everyone, I really appreciate it...and I'll let you know how I get on, oh, and cowasaki, if I still lived in Cheshire I'd deffo be driving her round to your place but alas I escaped to Herefordshire :violin:

Good luck in getting it fixed.
As said earlier - best to find a auto electrics place. They will sort a simple fault like that.
Hope you get it fixed soon!

You never know on here. Lots of nice people willing to help for a few tea's and a bacon butty.
You will find that most people on Landy Zone will help if they can.

You can only ask and offer a tea or butty or even a beer?
I'm too far away I'm afriad.

Oh - and most men are a sucker for a damsel in distress :D

Good auto electric blokes are worth their weight in gold.
They can find a fault in 10 minutes which might take a mechanic hours.

I wouldn't expect anyone to help for nothing...and we do make our own cider :beer2:

Well, after taking everyone's advice...and thanks again...I found HEREFORD 4x4 and took her in. Just got her back and all seems well, two hours work at £40 per hour plus VAT, it'll be well worth it if she's fixed.....twas a wire located in the front passenger side wing that had rubbed through, bless 'em they've also protected the rest too. Let's hope that's the end of it....for a while anyways :biggrin1:
I drove her home and fell in love all over again...I've been driving a Suzuki Jimny in the meantime and have felt somewhat emotionally shrivelled!
So although this thread started out as an 'I'm getting rid' ....it's ending with 'I've changed my mind'...bloody typical woman!
