Are all of the items listed after recommended fuels to use in a 300tdi just other names for diesel or are they different oils? Was confused with the one that says "automotive gas".

petrol and diesel ,gas obviously is petrol here ,it does say petrol models as well as tdis some are petrol from same age ,books are also subject to been edited by IT people rather than engineers nowadays

O hi did some googling and it turns out "automotive gas oil" is what they call diesel in Zambia.

The info highlighted is relevant to petrol & diesel engines, they are basically saying don't use rocket fuel.

Oh that was just me highlighting that because I was thinking "oh methanol, they use that in the process of biodiesel don't they", so went to go check about it.

Automotive gas refers to Gas Oil = diesel.

Somone up there said Automotive Gas is petrol, why the hell would it say petrol for a diesel car?
