The compressor on my 38a seems to be cutting in and out all the time regardless of any hevac settings.
I dont have a hand book yet so am not fully aware of its operation.

Any ideas whats occuring?

Unless you press the A/C off button in the top rh corner of the Hevac panel,(so the orange light comes on) the compressor should cycle on and off to try to keep the evaporator temp between 0 and 6 degrees C.

I suppose it should of been fairly obvious to me, as you say the switch is marked a/c off.

Yeah funny think i only found that out yesterday a/c has been on since i got it back in december


mpg gone from 19 to 21
