Ive not taken a line apart, but, im guessing, that the compression fittings on the end of all the 300tdi fuel lines have a hosetail in the nylon pipe.
On my international engines 2.8 (in the 101) i used standard compression fittings, and brass inserts, in clear nylon pipe (makes spotting air leaks easier) but, as ive gone and put standard nuts / olives on my new lift pump today, id rather buy the stock fittings to match them.
So -
Does anyone know where i can buy just the female compression / hosetail fitting?
I wondered if buying short lengths of britpart fuel line and taking them apart would work, but, from what i can tell, all the part numbers come back "fully obsolete"
