Hi does anyone know why when my range rover is in park the compresser starts up on one side (IT SEEMS TO BE FILLING ALL THE TIME)? This happened tonight out of the blue. I had this noise in my disco 3 but a garage burst that one while jacking it up. Im praying this one isnt burst.
Also can anybody tell me how to unjam my cd that got stuck today??

You'll need to be a bit more specific if you're expecting real help.
First of all - what car?
What do you mean by your compressor starts up on one side, you should only have one compressor.

As for your c.d. you'll have to get the stereo out and take the top off. Otherwise you risk damaging the mechanism.

Hi, Its a range rover sport se i was just sittting in it with the key turned once not the engine running and suddenly the compresser started filling and the noise didnt stop. I had to start and stop the engine for it to cut out again. It was fine all day today but just wondered should i take it to the garage to get it looked at. I only bought it on friday. I was parked on level ground at the time.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Take it back from where you bought it.
Hopefully the garage will be pleasant and helpful and sort you out. Even if the car doesn't go wrong again or whilst in the garage it's still worth it just to let the garage know in case something happens in the future.
Whilst you are there get them to sort out your c.d. player, if you bought it with the car then it's covered by the warranty.
If the garage aren't helpful or try to fob you off with 'it was sold as seen' or 'the warranty is with the warranty company not us' or 'we told you that there was no guarantee' or anything similar then you might need to go legal on them.
Under the sale of goods act anything bought, even second, must be fit for purpose and a court would reckon that for a second hand car this would be for at least six months.

Thanks very much for the help, phoned the garage this morning and they will fix everything under warranty.
