Had to use it once on the road and scared me too.

Must put the old P38 1 in it:)

J

With a couple of nice pieces of 3/4 plywood, one to std it on and the other to put under the rear arm, as the std bottle jack top has a u shape to it.

Cheers

Over in the range rover section of the forum in the tech archive is a down load section you should be able to to get Rave which is jlr workshop manual like a Haynes but on steroids it also i believe has the owners manual as well.

I've fallen at the first hurdle apparently (when trying to access the technical downloads) - just click on the link and .....?

So, first two serious questions
Where can I get a second key for the beast, and where can I get an owners manual?

try pixels fixed on facebook if you can he does RR keys.
Also on FB, try a few of the RR groups, RANGE ROVER OWNER has the owners manual ofr one L322 a later year that I know of , you may find one for yours.

Cheers

Has is broken down yet?
Well, yes and no.
It wouldn't start this morning and I (rightly as it turned out) assumed it was out of diesel.
I put about 10 litres (2 Imperial British gallons) in it and then spent an hour unsuccessfully trying to bleed it. I just got fed up and cranked it until it burst into it's sweet little life.
Fuel guage showed it was about an eigth full and there was no low fuel warning.
I'll try not two make that mistake again

TD6 is pretty bomb proof and not over thirsty. Can fix engine with basic tools but you’ll need diagnostics for some electrical components.
They take some juice (volts) to crank and keep the puters happy so try not to kill the battery and invest in a Ctek trickle charger

Welcome to the fold :)

Looks a nice spec whip, have you kept the Glock storage from the gansters pack?

welcome and enjoy the motor

I believe the l322 has in i tank transfer pump to move fuel from one side if the tank to the other as there is a hump in it so will give you a fuel reading when the other side is empty if the pump has gone, never let a rangie get low.
as to chargers i picked up two from Lidl when they had them £12.99 and one for £9.99 as it was the last, and they work very well.

Anyone live near birmingham airport?
Not me. thankfully.

Also unsure why you have posted that question in someone else's intro thread, which has been inactive for nearly a year?

I would think you would be better of in the regional sections, or even in General Land Rover.
