Plenty. If the plate is in the right way and there is no reason it shouldn’t be. I’d be tempted to get the back wheels off the ground and have a thrash around with everything. See if it frees something up.

Any one mentioned dirty input splines?
This may be stopping the friction plate fully releasing.
