herding bullocks so this land rover has quadruped impact protection equipment....
I have a small tool box fitted but still have room for daily nail buckets and steel fittings.
my next task after roof rack building is to make a side hanger for gates, like the window boys have on vans for double patio doors etc.
Thought the wheel arches got in the way of a pallet I could be wrong though???
you are wrong!
Had loads of pallets in the back of the D1 (they do spash the seatbelt sockets though )
Not tried one in the D3 yet... but can't see it being an issue.
whats the max laiden weight of the d3 then bumpski....just as is with stuff in it not with a trailer.
so a defender will carry more stuff then as its lighter to start with...
About an extra half a tonne
D3 payload is 528KG
hmmmmm
so a commercial section on the forum could be usefull then..
why would you buy a comercial D3 over a defender who knows...
Because for what i need to move they hold more stuff, weight isn't an issue, space is.
They are also comfier, less likely to be nicked and have good engines.
that seems expensive..£1315. Mechanic. Covers any vehicles I own, 3at mo. public liability and driving customers cars! Not too bad in the big scheme of things, I need more toys to make it better value
so whats you paying for commercial insurance then?
Im at just over 400 quids for work,..
Yeah, mines something around that price, might be slightly closer to £500 cus they f**ked up the no claims side of things... I'll give you one guess which company i'm insured with
