The seat was set quite high and it would only go upwards, looks like it could of gone lower.

Could that of been a malfunction in the seat?
Quite possible - the girlfriend has the seat quite high as she is a shorty - and I still have about 1.5" above my head - with the seat in the lowest position (the rocker switch for the back and forward is twisted - rear of switch raises and lowers the back of the seat - front of switch raises and lowers the front of the seat) I must have 6 or 7 " above my head, and have to almost look over the dash to see the end of the bonnet - it does drop quite low and feels like a normal salon car view!

Ah.

So it's entirely possible i'm an idiot SWMBO was right all along!

she was saying on the trip back that the seat should of gone lower!!!

Mind you she is 6'2 :D

She towers above most men and found the car rather comfortable :D

I'm no stranger to leg room issues, my knees used to rub against the bottom of my RRC steering wheel!
It was much worse in the manuals lol

Smaller diam. steering wheel?
When it comes to driving comfort not all tall people are built the same. For example my late father was the same height as me but shorter in the leg, so driving the same vehicle required a different seat position.

I am not that tall at only 6’2” but I have trouble getting comfy in the L322, usually every car I own the seat goes down as far as it can and it stays there but I found in the RR if the seat is there my thighs are under pressure from the high front cushion position, I have found that by raising the seat but keep the front low the position is much better, but not perfect......still fiddling around on each journey so far!
