I have just bought 4 No.235/70/R16 Colway MT for a Discovery 1, 200TDI, 1991, H reg, and are going to be fitted on 4 discovery steel rims. they are being delivered next week, and will have to fit them onto the rims (as i bought them form Formula 4x4). can they be fitted as tubeless? i`m hoping tyo get a local garage to put them on.
from previous threads i presume that the colway MT are not for every day road use? as i have the original land rover alloys with road biased tyres on.

why did you buy the MT's?

if your only going to be using them a few times a month etc it may be worth you swapping wheels around when you need them. colways arnt as bad as other MT's for onroad use, i think you will find them surprisingly good.

ring the supplier to confirm if they are tubeless.i believe they should be. im assuming your steel disco rims are 16inch? just checking ;)

The Colways are tubeless, and are on 16in Rims.

Unfortunatly the existing tyres on the are 205`s so i can`t interchange them. the existing road tyres are not brillaint for wet greenlaning, as there grip is appalling.

how much did yer pay fer em possy, im in the market fer a set of colway m/t's and i have found cradds to be the cheapest so far at 36 quid pus the vat

I ended up paying £38 (including VAT) for colway MT, from Formula 4x4, as i payed for 4, i got free delivery to my home address for spending over £100, then all i have to do is get them fitted to the rims.
one reason for not chosing john craddocks where the price quoted excluded VAT, and delivery was on top. so formula 4x4 was the best deal for me on the colway`s.
hope this helps
