That is very helpful as I see the black/red and black/white one that I can see in my connector at the stereo.

I will measure if they give the right signal.
 
Most steering wheel controls are variable resistance, different buttons give a different reading from the signal wire to ground

Cool, I tried measuring the resistance but didn't get anything. Back to square one. Need to check at connector at the steering wheel now.

I have everything working except the steering wheel control.
 
I have an adapter from a BMW 330d connecting my stereo, I modified it to remove the Iso blocks so it takes up less room. The BMW steering wheel control interface didn't work but as I never use the wheel controls I haven't bought the correct one
