my defender is white and i bought a set of alloys and re painted them alloy silver and they looked absolutly pish,and alloys dont suit white,better of with a set of steel and paint them white 8 spoke look smart on a white landy and there cheap
Maybe i should explain what i have already
I dont want the wellars on ther any more, i bought the boost alloys to update the truck a little and just make it look a bit tidier as its a work vehicle.
wheel choice is made, its the colour im stuck on!

What i didnt mention tho is my Hiab, in the rear!!!
can lift 750 legally but i have been known to lift colse to a ton!! Its totally standard, ex EDF Energy, came fome special vehicles like this, also has out riggers, and strengthened/plated chassis, twin battery, and the strobe flasher beacons. (less one beacon as i went through a drive thru bank with a 25' ladder straped on and made a scene, completly totaled the height barrier, went to own up wonam in bank said dont worry happns all the time,..... few)
other truck is also an Ex EDF, was originally a hard top 110 van, but now has the rear bulkhead and cab and roll bar from the old army 2.5n/a defender which finally died 3 years back. and also a new tail gate to replace the rear door.
Hence only half of the blue "e".
Ok well i can see you guys like your pics so heres a few i have to hand with out digging around too much.

So as you can see my hi cap, which is my every day vehicle, is looking a bit tired.
hence why i bought the wheels, to smarted it up a bit.
Other plans are to sound deaden the interiot, new or referb seats, and maybe a dash up grade.
Also new bigger tyres, new heavy duty springs as the near side has sunk through hiab abbuse with out out riggers.
And ideally id like to respray it, i restore cars as a hobbby, so could do this for a few hundred quid.
I really like the bomatti (sp) grey the tomb raider colour i think.
I know some will say its a landy leave it, but it is my business vehicle and id like it to look more professional instead of "pikey"
Also on a personal level its my every day car, so why should i not be able to make it a pleasnt place to be in and also a car to be proud of!

Sorry to **** on your chips but boost alloys are not rated for 110s. they came on 90s only. So if you carry on lifting and transporting things your better off on steels. I have a set of black wolfs on my 90 and they look awesome. better than any alloy. understated but the dogs. i actually sold the boosts it came with and bought the wolfs instead
