Many thanks for all your replies, even wammers.

This is the colour I have been looking at the most but still not 100%

My 2p worth...

I like that green, and IMHO it's not the base colour of a Landy that makes it look good or otherwise, it's the details. IMHO if you have black bumpers and black wheel arch eyebrows, you need black chequer plate. If that were mine, I'd lose the mudflaps, stick some decent alloys and bigger tyres on it, change the chequer plate to black, and possibly paint (or wrap) the roof black too. But I agree with others, changing the original colour would be a real shame as it looks like a nice original vehicle. All of the mods I have suggested are easily undone if one day prices for original 90s get really silly! I might remove the stripes TBH as not really my thing...but again that does seem a shame.

My own 110 started off bronze green (ex RAF), was then white, and is now Caledonian blue. And I get really annoyed when chips, scratches or bits of trim that move reveal one of those other colours. IMHO, unless you are going to do a total strip down to each individual bare panel, a colour change is bad news.

On another note, I notice you have RX8 seats, how are they? Any issues with doors hitting the switch panel on the drivers side? How do you get on with clearance over the side bolster getting in and out, and does the side step help here? WHat about room under the steering wheel? This is a mod I am seriously considering and would appreciate your views!

Stuff the originalality, mines now a different colour to what it left the factory,
And all the *rap bits that were badly fitted from new and let me down have long gone, and I have added all the extras I need in 2016, I can now charge my phone, keep my feet dry, and sit in a comfy seat too.
Originality is for a museum.

Thank you for making me Smile !!!!!

You like to keep it original apart from the seats, drilling holes for chequer plate, cover the back end in mud and oversize tyres, and paint the roof a non period colour

Thank you for making me smile too...I don't think you've read what I put or looked at the pictures of the OP's 90. I never said keep it original, it's already well past that point with the OP's existing modifications, I said keep the paint original and possibly add some easily reversible styling changes. Wrapping the roof as I suggested means it can easily be peeled off if needed. And I suspect the OP has already drilled holes for his chequer plate, unless the current stuff is held on with double sided sticky tape! ;-)

The RX8 seats are one of the best mods I have done, the switch panel just hits the door panel but that was a small compromise. getting in isn't a problem but then I am 6ft 3", plenty of room under the steering wheel but then that isn't original either.

If I could find the colour code for the green it might, just might stay that colour an just be given a refresh. But if I do change the colour it will be all of it not just a blow over.

I sublimely put 2 pac grey in your mind. What a good job I did! Now you need to paint the roof off-white / cream together with the wheels.

Paint it grey with white roof I must.

Wheels have already been changed to alloys, so may not quite full mind control yet.

Don't do it! Don't join the dark side!
( I'm shit with Star Wars quotes - that was the best I could do )!

Keeping it original would get my vote too.
If you are seriously considering resale value, then I reckon it would be the best thing to do.
Are you getting it painted inside as well as out?

Have you thought this through? A paint job, unless done properly will look crap no matter what colour it is. A decent paint job will set you back 3k or more.
Sure you could get it done for less, but it will be crap.
Every time you open your bonnet and see green inside, open your doors and see green over spray everywhere, a few years down the line when the paint is faded and literally falling off and you will pick holes in it every time you see it, really, a cheap paint job just isn't worth it.

If you opt to tidy up the original any good paint shop will match the existing, you don't need codes, but the same still applies, it needs done properly or it will be crap.

''I am also in a position that I have some of the skills to be able to completely repaint it.''

What skills are they? Do you have a kitted out paint shop?

I opted for Caledonian Blue as well, but it was this colour to begin with anyway, It was painted when the body was stripped off the chassis.

i have a 1990 90. sod originality, make it your own if that's what makes you happy. mine started life looking that same as yours but in a hardtop flavour.

it's now sporting a puma bulkhead and rear door and original 90 front doors (lift up handles and wind up windows) it's had a back garden respray in satin grey with a satin black roof
