I can again only note 4 in the P38....in the top of the cubby box lid (if it was fitted - some weren't)

And deffo the L322 looks better....

Even though mine is having Air Suspension issues at the moment...it is still brill:p

Haha !

Oh dear, what EAS problems you having then ?

Four in the cubby box lid and two in the rear armrest. As I said, all useless for the driver.

I was warned off the 'extra' ones that fitted in the dash as they rub on the walnut veneer so I've fitted another one on the side of the tunnel for the ballast so I've actually got seven.

Whenever I think of this (usually half way up the M6) I keep looking at that bit of trim on the dash between the binnacle and the driver's door. I'm sure that, a couple of years ago, I heard of someone who'd mounted a pop-out holder in there.

Have you sorted the sunroof drain? Or at least checked that the electrics in the boot area have the "splatter guard" fitted? Failure to address this will get VERY expensive, and it's a matter of "when" not "if".

I have ordered the OEM water shedder. But checking the compartment it shows no sign of ingress. Also other forums state it was a leak in the rear wing!? After enduring hours of rain yesterday i am going to check the spare wheel well for water.

Locked in Standard Height with Air Susp. Inactive on the message centre....

From research could be a couple of things:

  • Software fault in the early software were the Set Point for Compressor Overheat is set to low throwing a fault
  • Pressure Switch Sticking
  • Tired Compressor
Booked into LR this morning to read the codes....will keep y'all informed.

Well it's Friday!after a night of tossing and turning you wake up the nerves set in you go for the purchase wondering hopping that you haven't bought a pile of .... Two days later all is good and bingo you got a cracker . Good luck

Turned out to be none of the above....

Fault Code returned Rear Cross Valve Fault and NSR Height Sensor out of Range....

What the service guy postulates is as the previous owner had the ride height calibrated 2.75" lower than standard....the ride height sensor upper range was cruddy....so when it was calibrated to correct ride height, the snesor throw a hissy fit, that combined with the torrential rain last night, the sensor just couldn't be bothered anymore....

He plugged into computer to read live data, rocked the car vigorously side to side and the NSR sensor was reading aodd readings....He cleared the faults, cycled the car a few times to Off Road height and down to Access a few times....plugged the computer back in to read live data, and rocked the car vigourously side to side again, this time the NSR sensor was reading in accordance with the other sensors too.....

Carried out another recalibration of the ride heights and fingers crossed she is behaving herself again....

They dutifully relieved me of the requisite £65 for the 30 minutes work.....

So lets see what happens....:D

Mine also had the same EAS fault as yours 2 weeks ago, mine was also ride height sensor related.

Except one of my ride height sensors snapped off clean and also had chaffed wiring.
So bought new wiring plug and soldered on and changed both sensors to the new design which are a lot better.

In that week I had the sensor break, air suspension bag blow out and my compressor Knackered !!

Thankfully after £700 all is better.
Lol

When I mentioned this is Range Rover no.6 he did ask if I was some kind of masochist or gluten for punishment....

But would we be without them??....No, not on your life....
