It's the Power Steering return pipe. It takes PS fluid from the rack, passing it to the solid pipes and on to the fluid cooler to be cooled. They are all flat, even when new, in the packet. It looks odd, but is quite normal. I suspect it's being used as a fluid pulse suppressor or flow restrictor. Don't worry about it though.Hi Rimini, any idea what it actually feeds?
thanks lodge. Any idea why iv'e started blowing oil off on the td4 after changing the maf and turbo pressure valve on the freelander td4.
It stopped after i changed the turbo so i can't understand why it would start again after changing these two items unless i've done something wrong. Changed the crank case breather when i changed the turbo and everything had been fine but i checked the breather and there's no sign of any thing getting up there as there was before i changed it
