Folks, When I start my TD5 from cold for the first Second or two, she runs, but barely, and sometimes stalls. after a couple of seconds, she’s completely normal and drives perfect, for that first couple of seconds it feels like a lack of fuel as I can’t rev her. It’s not a major issue however it is frustrating.

hoping it’s an easy fix,

any suggestions?

Next time turn ignition on 2, push the throttle 5 times consecutively, wait untill the EML stops fashing then crank it, if it runs well after that first replace the air bleed valve (WJN500110) in the rear outer port of the filter head and if no joy then maybe the injector copper wshers are on the way out.

Sounds silly but how long does it flash for?

I’ve waited a few minutes and it still is flashing :(

Bizarrely I'm having exactly the same problem when I have a quarter tank or less and parked facing up a hill.
