Yer got that now will try run live data check in the morning and post the o2 sensors data mines a motortronic not gems cheers for all the help again

You can pur the data in an excel spreadsheet and create a graph with that but you need to tell excel what the csv file uses as delimiters between the data points.

Rare for a cam sensor on a GEMS to actually fail. Common for the connector to the cam sensor to fill up with gunk thus "failing" the cam sensor.
Check it's clean and that all wires are intact before splashing out megabucks.
CSV Viewer is available from the Support & Downloads section of the Nano site, or if not there, it'll be in your private downloads section.

If you have Microsoft Excel then open the file with that, select column A and then press ALT, D, D, E, select semi-colon and then hit return.

can anybody tell me how to transfer grapghs from csv viewer to the forum do I just have to take photo of the graphs then upload them or is there a way to just transfer them over cheers

Screenshot them and post to an image hosting site then insert url as a picture. That's what I did above anyway.

Not sure if this is right or weather u can gleam any info from it to me it's a load of lines but hope it works and ranks again for all the help

You don't hhav to post them to a file sharing site you can just upload them directly to here.

I've anybody can tell something about my 02 sensors from the graphs it be much appreciated or the cam sensor thanks again in advance

From the screenshots both lambda sensors appear to be functioning correctly, in as much as they're "flipping" and neither is pegged at one end of scale or the other
What exactly is the problem you're trying to solve? This thread started out as testing coil packs, moved into lambda sensor replacement, but no reference to what exactly the problem is.

Oh sorry I did a thread on o2 sensors a bit back all it was is the old girl had problems last year on mot with emissions and I think somebody said check o2 sensors I've just had new cam pulley fitted and another pulley and belt just trying to make sure for next mot in march and there is a fault showing up on nanocom

How many instances of the fault have been recorded? Have you cleared it and checked how quickly/ if it comes back? Long term trims not stuck at extremes?

Yer clear the fault but it just says currently there post 19 I put a pic up
So, you say you've recently had cam pulley fitted. Was that fault there before you changed it?
By cam pulley you do mean the cam sprocket that timing chain runs over to drive cam?

No the pulley that the belt runs on yer the fault was there before it went in garage

Gems cam sensors can be extremely troublesome. If they short internally or on the wires you are buggered. It blows the ECU as soon as the keys turned. It leads to massive overfueling thus black smoke very bad running etc.
Just unplug it and the engine should still run ok. It's difficult to access thougg
