To resurrect this somewhat .. I just been given a copy of a gpx file ... coast to coast using many green lanes, most of which I had marked, but some new .. Very interesting, will post a screenshot shortly, still looking at it ... 
I'll show you them properly next time we have a recce .. they're very interesting! The pics just show 'em in small scale but I have all the separate lanes in large too .. I reckon they could be used tomorrow to do a trip, so would save a shed-load of work looking at the maps and planning ...

There's actually a few bits I'd maybe change, there are even more lanes to add to it! but they're only minor additions and might now be restricted etc ...

It seems it's feely available on t'interweb, if you search, but it looks good to me .. and should save a lot of effort, even if it needs tweaking for personal favourites ..
