My foot pump has given up the ghost again another in a long line that i have now destroyed, as i have a nice track pump for the bikes i dont want to buy another foot pump to carry in the hippo and was wondering about co2 inflation. I used to have a small cylinder but it had leak sealer in it which i dont want just for top ups. I know the Americans a big on using co2 for tyres and to run air tools but i cant find anything here i was wondering about using disposable welding cylinder and a regulator which comes with 4mm push fit then just using a standard tyre inflator. Anyone see any problems with this? or got a better idea!!!!

I would suggest putting 50p in the machine at the petrol station and using that. How often are you blowing up your tyres?

If you want something to carry in the car, get a basic 12v compressor and invest in a decent pressure gauge as the ones on he machines are often not great.

That is news to me co2 in tires:hysterically_laughi and air tools what you been smoking, must of been good:rolleyes:

Got a mains compressor in the garage at home with a certified plc inflator
Got very good separate pressure gauge
Got tmax 12 compressor
But what i want is an easy replacement for a foot pump

Why do you need a foot pump as well?
When you said CO2 did yo mean nitrogen? Kwik Fit and some other places offer nitrogen instead of air. Only time I have seen CO2 for tyres is cycles, using tiny little cylinders
