hi all clutch is going some some
can you good people tell me the best
clutch plates for my hippo.
its a 53 1.8 5 door.

I bought a Borg and Beck clutch kit for my K series. Can't say how good or bad as haven't fitted it yet but a few people said to go for either B & B or LUK.

Any propriatary brand will be ok as they all supply Land Rover.
B & B, LUK, Valeo, AP etc. Take your pick but buy the complete kit comprising Plate, Cover, Bearing/Slave Cylinder and Master Cylinder. You may need Dual Mass Flywheel (If fitted), if it shows signs of wear.

I have over the last eighteen months changed clutches on Three TD4s have used LUK Solid flywheel clutch conversion kits. rip out the dual mass setup as a matter of course now.
