went out on sunday an lost the clutch, first it dropped about an inch an the next time it dropped to the floor and stayed there!
crashed it through the gear box for 2 or 3 miles to get to a main road then called out green flag.
the guy from green flag topped up the clutch resevoir and tried to bleed the cluch hydraulics. (it had gone down to about 2/3 full)
but the peddle just dropped to the floor with no pressure at all,
he said he thought it was the slave cylinder, but if it was original like he thought it all was it would be better to replace the master at the same time, fair enough i thought,so i got towed home,
on monday went to paddocks an brought new master, slave an damper, a mate at the bottom of the road said he'd fit it all for 30 quid, so told him to get on with it (not worth getting my hands dirty for that, i thought).
he fitted them for me this morning with not too much trouble, until he came to filling up the system to bleed it!
there is pressure in the master but no fluid is getting to the slave,
so no pressure at all.
heres is where we're both baffled, could the fact that we can't get pressure sound like the clutch fork has broken or is it just a hydraulic problem? i even thought about a blocked pipe?
and also what are the symptoms of a broken clutch fork?
it can be started an driven in gear but is difficult to change crashing gears, if that makes sence?

thanks in advance

Nick
