The gears on my disco will not engage when engine is running. Will go into gear when engine is switched of and will drive when started. No loss of fluid in resevoir, taken slave cyl off and it moves when peddal is pressed. Clutch fork not worn through,reinforced last time clutch was changed 14 months ago. I can move the clutch fork with my finger and pull it back with a magnet. Any ideas? before i take the box out again. Think it might be releasre bearing failed or clutch fingers gone.

I think you may be right , I am sorry to say . Not sorry that you are correct , just sad that you may have to have the sodding thing apart .

Took the box out today. Clutch springs on friction plate broken up. Only been in 14 months. New clutch kit fitted.

No valeo. Springs on friction plate had broken up and fell between friction plate and pressure plate jamming it up.

Just one of these things take it the friction plate is goosed now aswell
