Hello,

We just bought a 55 plate 110 double cab. When I drove it home the clutch bite point was close to the floor, then last week you could not select a gear with the engine running and only slight resistance from the pedal near the floow

  • No fluid in the master cylinder,
  • refilled no differance
  • changed the slave, no differance
  • fluid found on drivers pedal
  • changed the master cylinder,no differance
  • When i fitted the slave i did not notice that the rod was loose (in fact i needed some force to hold the slave in while bolting it in) so don't think its a fork or role pin problem
Any clues??

pedal been wet meant master needed changing if adjuster in pedal box to far fluid wont return making it difficult to push slave on rod is loose only held by small plastic clip to release arm

sounds like not bled properly, could have small leak on pipe between master and slave, can rub on clip at rear of engine.

bled it with ezybleed. Do the copper crush washers need replacing on the T piece? and what is the pressure switch for?

Clutch switch drops the revs to make gear change easier, not good to drive without it fitted. If no obvious leak washers should be ok.

if you have a round damper near slave in the pipe line these can make bleeding hard may need replacing or removing you dont need them
