Hi guys, so I’ve got a evoque Sd4 and the clutch pedal has been playing up.

has been clunking back up after changing gears and seems a bit high, but now is not clunking up, and seems to be sticking lower down. Have no issues changing gears or any problems. Only the wife had a couple issues pulling away.

any ideas on the issue please? Cheers

Welcome, wives have trouble pulling away, get yourself a girlfriend.;):D you bought an Ejoke, the only thing Land Rover about it is the badge.:p

Sounds like the clutch concentric could be playing up.
I wasn't actually aware that the SD4 was available with a manual box, only an automatic. The reason being the manual box isn't strong enough to cope with the SD4's more powerful engine.

You could also ask your Evoque related questions in the Freelander section, as the Evoque is just a Freelander 2 in a frilly dress, and lower reliability.

And neither of them are proper Land Rover' except for the badges.:p:rolleyes:

Quite true, they're a mix of Ford and Volvo, which is why the Freelander 2 was LRs most reliable vehicle!!
I don't quite know why the Evoque wasn't so reliable, I can only assume it tries to follow in its badges heritage. ;)
