Hello Folks,

About to change the clutch out on a 1.8 any issues that I could have,

Have most tools for the job along with Stands and Jack, unsure about removal of IRD.

Strong biceps and deltoids if you are going to bench press the 40kg PG1 gearbox for several hours.

You can never have enough wooden blocks and support jacks

Many thanks NI, food for thought, may just try and source a lifting arm, will give you a reply if Im still alive after the week end.

Now that I know you have clearance to remove engine with gearbox in situe, I would prefer to go down that road.
