i took my vehicle to a pay and play 4 days ago and it's the first time I'd been.
I was in high ratio most of the time and after a while I was smelling my clutch burning. I drove it home and no issues. Two days later I went back after getting some advice and drove around 90% of the time I was in second gear and low ratio and didn't use the clutch anywhere near as often (learnt from my mistakes).
Well I drove home again and still no issues with the clutch.
However, today I noticed at one point whilst slowing down and changing from third to second I heard a kind of rattle. Continued my journey as normal and then later that day I parked up for 5 minutes, jumped back in and as I was driving off in first gear I felt a kind of rattle/vibration through the clutch pedal as I was reaching the top.
Again, it drove fine afterwards.
I'm now concerned that I've knackered up my clutch and hope that it's not going to cause big problems.
What are your thoughts and suggestions as to why it only happens once or twice ?
Thanks
