Evening,

had a gander under my 96 D1 this afternoon and saw my clutch resiviour had about a third on its total capacity,

Gonna get some dot4 tomorrow if possible,

Could the lack of fluid of caused any problems or damage ?

Should note the clutch feels as good as it every has

It'll be fine but you need to investigate the cause of fluid loss

Some of the fluid loss will be to compensate for clutch plate wear, but this seems an awful lot. Hydraulic fluid leaks should be fairly obvious - unless it's being retained in the bellhousing. Is the drain hole clear? Do you have wading plugs in?

Didnt get round to driving in the end,

Its not leaking fluid any that i can tell,

Take it the drain hole would be either on the slave or the bellhouseing ?

Bit odd considering the master and slave were replaced less than a month ago

You talking about the dark patch on the chassis ?

Thats clutch fluid, topped it up before taking piccy and split some
