I guess thats how they did it up but putting a spanner on there now just spins off as there to tight.
I guess I could use a cold chisel and then spanner

cold chisel into the casing if scrapping it and a good spanner I reckon to get more space if not just a good spanner and some shock treatment, try penetrating fluid and a punch
