hi, could someone please point me in the right direction, fitting my first ever clutch in the morning and im going to make an alignment tool out of a dowel or socket ect, haynes manual says make it out of a dowel and make the rest up with eleci-tape to match up with friction disk hole. but the flywheel hole/indent is say an inch and the friction disk is 3 quarter inch, you would think the flywheel would be smaller,or am i just going at it the wrong way, any help or advice would be much appreciated,

just watched a video on that tool, looks good and easy, but why is my flywheel hole bigger
than the clutch hole? just looked on you tube all the ones i watched were the same size or very near.

cheers for the help ill get the tool. :)

I have never had an alignment tool to hand when doing a clutch but always had success just aligning it by eye although I have only done rwd vehicles so access is easier lol
