I have a '97 Disco and the clock doesn't display the right time. It lights up and displays incorrect numbers and random configurations of the seven lines that are used to create each number. If i push on the clock with my finger it will show the time, usually. I was wondering if anyone has had a problem similar to this or have some suggestions on how to correct this problem.

Thanks

I have a problem with the clock in me M reg 1994 Disco 300Tdi. - The clock digits are so dark that I can hardly see them! Could this be something along the same lines, i.e. a dodgy connection somewhere, or is it normal?

nope - it means the bulb is blown.

you need a 509T (comes in its own housing). Which yu can also get in a pretty blue .

just CAREFULLY take it apart and resolder all solder joints with a small fine tipped soldering iron. Then try it again.

or send it to me with a blank cheque :D.

Hi my clock was doing the same thing so i went to remove it with a thin bladed knife it started working again before i got it out
