Hi
My td5 2003 discovery clock does not light up and neither does the left hand side of the climate control. I am assuming its a bulb if so how easy or hard are these to fit
Any help appreciated

It's a bulb, you will need a couple of credit cards cut up to persuade the clock unit to pop out.

Have a look around, you'll find instructions :)

If...and only if the clock is similar to the Defender Td5 it doesn't have an exterior bulb it's hard wired to the clock pcb.

Had to do the clock on my 2003 td5 disco and can confirm it has a bulb. As said above slot a card under and at top of clock and it will pull out.

I tried to remove the clock by itself, then I found this video.

The clock and the door lock switch are part of the same module. There are two pairs of clips, one on the top and one on the bottom. They are towards the ends of the module rather than the middle.

Had to do this recently and to get the cards in to release the latches I needed to carefully use a flat-bladed screwdriver to make the gaps big enough. The clock fascia is a little larger than the body which doesn't make it easy, I also had some thin foam around the body which was a challenge to push the card past.
Once you have the cards in though (sideways is best as they fit side to side then) the clock popped out easily.

I done mine last night funnily enough. As said, two cards. Clips are more to the left of the unit as you look at it. Cards can be very tight to go in, but do go in with a little bit of wriggling and force......a problem I have often had.:p

Fitting the bulb and turning it the wrong way was a really good guide how not to do it. :D:D
