Over ten years my Freelander has accummulated a fair bit of muck(dust, crumbs etc) under and around the front seat mountings.

I would now like to be able to give it a thorough clean up and get rid of all the muck from the nooks and crannies. The problem I find is that a normal vacuum cleaner nozzle is too wide to get into a lot of the places I want to clean. I was thinking of removing the seats but I would like to avoid that if possible.

Has anyone got any suggestions please?

Thanks

Removing the seats is the only real way to get full access to the dirt beneath it.
Thanks. I know there are electrical connections under the seats but apart from disconnecting them are there any other problems? It's a 06 Series 1.

Depending on the model, you'll have 1 to 4 plugs. Just unplug them, making sure the ignition has been off for at least 30 minutes.
Then undo the 4 Torx screws, so the seat can be removed.

I use a stiff brush to move the crap to where it can be vacced up. cheap paintbrushes can be useful to get in the nooks aswell
