Just bought a 92 Classic SE, can anyone tell me what the ride height, e.g ground to top of wheel arch, should be. No air suspension involved obviously but it looks a little high so I'm wondering if a previous owner has put in larger springs.

Any chance of a photo of the offending vehicle??

Measuring from the middle of the wheel/hub to the underside of the wheelarch the dimension is 450mm, or at least that's what it is on my '91 Classic which is at standard ride height. According to the manual, just for the sake of it, according to the workshop manual, the standard ride height for air suspension from the floor to the centre of the wheelarch is 790mm +/- 7mm.

Thanks Classic - 500mm on mine so I guess that makes it a 2" lift. Can't understand how it didn't notice it before. Wonder if it was done right?
