Hi, I have a 1992 v8 classic which I am converting from Auto to manual and replacing the v8 with a 300tdi.
I have everything for the conversion apart from the pedal box and master cylinder. Its fitted with abs and I was wondering if anyone knows if an earlier type of manual pedal box could be adapted to fit as the later ones seem hard to find.
Thanks Neil

Can't help with the technical question, but V8 to diesel / auto to manual ?
I assume you're not looking to retain resale value :(

No offence intended, each to his own.

Hi Thanks for your reply,
No not really interested in resale value. Didnt buy the Rangie for what it could be worth. I think it's going to be much more useable with the tdi in instead of the V8. 10mpg just isnt funny.. rather have something I can afford to fuel .
Thanks Neil.

10mpg sounds a bit serious.
Admittedly I avoid really short journeys like the plague, but then & again it's been years since I did a really long run (600+ miles, motorways most of the way) when my unmodified 3.5efi auto averaged 5.1 miles/litre (23mpg)
Over the course of the last 1200miles of mixed driving it averaged 17mpg.
