yes the front bumper was put on by the lad its coming and the dash is just a standed one nothing changed on that. this will be a long project as i have work in the garage to do on the day to day basis. but i will turn this rangie back to a standed more fitting the only thing is the colour !! i only like the racing green so ive been looking at later colours
 
I've never heard of "racing green" but British Racing Green was a BMC group colour, my 1966 MG was in British Racing Green, now I belive Jaguar have that colour available as an option.
I never seen it in any of the RR sales catalogues which I've collected from 1980.
The front bumper isn't different... only the end caps are missing... the spoiler isn't 3.5 but a 3.9s as it has the slots below.

Photo shows my old 1987 3.5 at 6 weeks old.
where did u get the info on special addition wheels? as there was no such thing as special addition wheels in 1987 just 3 spokes and colour coded on the Vogue SE.

i havent said the wheels are a special edition, someone on here may of said that.I havent seen these type of wheels ever on a rangie before. they look a lot like land cruser type to me i have got some gloss black ones with the rangie new looking ones so ill be selling them on. they would look the dogs on a landy. so back to colours. i cant think which now cause i like the dark blue on my l322 as well so thought of that dark mett ?
 
As i said earlier they look like the wheels of a special addition classic build for the chelsea set, several conversions were done by posswibly milner and others, i have seen one of them with the wheels.

Us Londoners along with some country folk were quite happy with our Range Rovers back in 1997 with the straight from the factory look, any that went to the specialist coach builders went with the Arab owners abroad.
RRs weren't that common then, unlike to day when I can see at least eight newish ones in 30 minutes. So common. :(
 
right new question if the doors are exposed hinges does the scuttle panel and bonnet have to be exposed hinges. to be the right way to beback to standed
 
it has hidden hindges on the bonnet at the moment so will exposed hinges on on ive not looked at the fitment yet .what about suspension springs whats the best ones to put on standed height or 2 inch plus. i went on my travels yesterday and picked up aload of bits for 100 quid im well impressed and the man has rang me and offered a load more bits. so i got all the side panels and lights the ceter box as it was better than the one i have light stalks plus tailgate now i have to go back for 2 axle and swivel housings and switches and eletrics . bumper caps and other bits 50 quid for them. im well happy this week just got to find a scuttle panel and bonnet now oh and maybe a an O/S door if i cant fix it thanks for all the replies.it helps me alot oh and im keeping her now. after taking the plugs out and putting new in and the leads plus oil and filter she sounds lovely. i cant think of anything better than the sound of a V8 thats what got me started with rangies all thoughs years ago as a lad driving my bosses 2 door for a weekend in the moors i was hooked. i would love to drive another 2 door again

Not on a 1987MY RR, the bonnet hinges along with the fuel filler cap are concealed and which came in with the introduction of the 3.5 EFI engine. The 3.9s had concealed door hinges but that was the 1990MY.
