Believe I have a faulty in tank fuel pump are the V8 carbs and injection the same pumps?and are the tanks the same because I do have a whiff of petrol at back of car but can't see at mo because I have a tank guard. If anyone knows where I can pickup these items I would be Very Grateful

different pumps ,loook the same but pressures different ,its usually pipes that go across tank that leak

There where 3 different fuel pumps for the EFi system 86-92, 92-93 and 93-94

And as far as I know they are all different to the Carb models....

I have no idea where you could get a Carb pump from, but the 3 EFi pumps are available from Island 4x4.....(no affiliation)

Thanks for the quick reply, think i can see a little dampness on seam of tank and smells worse the more fuel that is in there

Mmm may have to consider an external universal pump as we are on gas so it won't be getting much use anyway

Another related question: are the later plastic fuel tanks interchangeable for the old ones without any modifications?

I've got one and would like to change if it's direct change.
