I have a Range Rover Classic chassis however I do not not know what year, how can i tell if it is pre 1986 or not?

I am trying to get a set of bushes for it and there are two types, pre '86 and post '86. Any ideas?

I suspect thats to do with th anti roll bars and the corresponding bushes that go on em.You got anti roll bars?

how much are the bushes?
ask what the differences are.
If its not a complete bush set, ask if you can buy sale or return.
Get both sets.

I've got the parts manual for 86 on and aside from the anti roll bar stuff there are different detachable cross members for the different diesel and petrol versions. If the detachable memner is tubular then it would seem to be a late 2.5 diesel or 3.9 petrol, square is for 2.4/3.5.
Try rangerovers.net where they give a year by year list of modifications and you might be able to make out what changed.
