See

Told you it was easy.

Can I borrow it please.
Yeah, no problem pete, give me your address & i'll post it. Free of charge, I can make loads more super cheap.
As I said, ive had the heads skimmed,£60 the pair, expencive I know, re-cored rad, double tube thickness
& all new top & bottom plate's,£370, new water pump & chain, stripped down to the crank & cleaned but now it just wont start,
I took of the manifold but didn't take anything off, only the plenam chamber, getting a good spark but no fuel to the plugs.
Any ideas mate will be acted on pdq.

Is the pump running? It's energised by the flap in the MAF opening.

I have some pdf files about testing the EFI system but I get an error when i try to upload them.

Check for voltage at the ECU mulitplug pin 20 when the flap is open. Should be 11.0 to 12.5V.

This then energises the fuel pump relay which IIRC is under the drivers seat.

Good luck

Pete

Auto correct changed it from Laser to LSE

. Google Laser Tools 5591 and you'll see it

The silverline viscous spanner is also useful 32mm and 36mm on the other
Adam, I made my own getta offa tool, 17" x 1/8" x 1/2" bar with a bolt hole drilled at one end,
it's long enough to rest on the chassis, then tap the big water pump nut to the right & hey
presto. job done. cost. nothing. used a momkey wrench & small hammer. thanks for the info
mate, you put me on the right track.
