Hi All,

I'm trying to make sure I've planned the fuel lines out correctly for my v8 defender build. As it's basically a disco 1 / RRC from a fueling PoV, I've been using the D1 parts manual. I've found the following item:

ESR4065 - fuel filter

The above seems to be a fairly standard in-line fuel filter (long-life type I assume) with an associated bracket. There's also the mesh filter on the end of the in-tank RRC-style HP fuel pump.

Do I also need one of the sedimentor screw-on/off types in the engine bay, or are they only designed for LP diesel & carb systems?

Thanks

Adam

From the pump the ESR4065 is the only filter fitted, which is positioned in the off side rear wheel arch on the RRc and disco.

Excellent news! Thanks!

I had a sneaking suspicion that those screw in sedimenter types were only for low pressure systems.
