Hi all,

The other day I went to charge my mobile and realised the front cigarette port was not working.

At the same time the compass mirror stopped working (the led direction thingy lol went off)

I checked the fuses and all ok.

Any ideas to what it could be??

ive checked all the fuses but still no luck just stopped working all the same time so confused!!!!

I need an eye test and just saw, 'cigarettes, port' and imagined the rest said cheese board etc. Hope it resolves itself soon.

Fuse 15 in the passenger fuse box powers both the cig lighter and the mirror, if you are sure that it is ok check to see if it is live with the ign on. If it isn't live check fuse 26 that is the fuse for the aux relay. Remember a blow fuse isn't the problem it is a symptom, though most often sombody has plugged into the cig lighter and shorted that.

Owl none of that made any sense to me lol! The port in the boot is working fine it's the front one.

I checked the fuse from the diagram that was under the steering wheel is this what you mean??

Yes fuse 15 under the steering wheel, if you remove the fuse and check it and it isn't blown put it back in, then you need to test it with a meter or test light because this fuse is powered by a relay that is energised when the ign is on, if the relay doesn't work you won't have any power to the fuse.. If you look at the fuse there are two small holes where you can probe with a test light There is most likley a problem with this circuit as that fuse feeds the front Cig lighter and the mirror.
