Eh up guys, Another update for you.
Well got her booked intot he Docs today and so glad i did. took it there and when he first drove her, i could hear this bloody horrible noise "can't hear it when your driving" he came back and said well looks like your transfer box has had it.
About an hour later he stuck her on the ramps "had to finish someone else's motor" and got hold of me, there was so much play in the front prop at the transfer box side that it was hitting one of the bolts "hense the squeeking" turns out that it was squeeking when not on throttle because it wasn't hard up anymore.
So time was getting very tight as had to pick the littlen up from school, so had to dash off in the wagon "taking it easy, had no choice in the matter" about 3-4 miles down the road hurt this mighty bang from under neath, sounded like someone shot the bottom of the underside.
I know what that was, the bloody bolt that was getting hit by the prop sheared and hit the car.
Shat myself big time, stopped and had to make some phone calls about littlen, then crawled at 20 mph for about 25 miles ish to get back to the garage.
So need new bolts, prop shaft "as it was Fu*ked anyway" and labour he said no more then £110.
Was very lucky this night....
