If you mean the shock mounting rubbers, I doubt if you will do much harm by driving home slowly. They fail for a pastime.Hi all,
Have somehow managed to damage both bottom bushes on my rear shocks, has anyone got any in Chorley spare a could put on please and could lend me the tools to swap them. Currently sat in halfords carpark! Have good phone coverage where I am.

The ones that sit under the rear axle are both gone! Hit a bump in the road and the two washers that retain them have both failed- think shocks topped out and ripped them through!

Slow drive home then, I've driven my disco a good 30 miles home with basically no rear dampers when I snapped both bottom pins having a play. The ones that sit under the rear axle are both gone! Speed hump at speed I reckonMust have been a hell of a bump? What sort of landy you got?
In any case, as I said, should be driveable with care.
The washers dont really do anything, they just spread the load of the rubbers on the metal bracket. I would guess your rubbers are completely knacked, or the bracket is rusty.110 csw. Td5. I think the issue is crap washers rather than big bump sadly
