Hi there, I am looking at getting some extra power and MPG from my Discovery TD5 and was wondering if anyone has had any experience of using the Chip Express Tuning box or the Bell Auto Services Remap interface? do they work? is there any liklihood of damaging my engine? and which of the two is better?

I've no experience with a tuning box on a TD5 as mines got a proper engine! lol,but I do have a chip express box on my 2.0Hdi peugeot and it makes a hell of a difference to that both in power and economy

Ive just had my 2001 td5 disco chipped cost me £100, you can send them your ecu, but i got mine done while i waited as they were local. Drives much better now like you would expect a modern diesel to drive!

They advertise on ebay, item number is 230800994708

I nearly payed out £270 for one of the bigger companies to chip it but could not resist the £100 option!
