I would not be fussed if its over filled a little over the high mark on the dip stick. I usually fill mine slightly over the dip stick mark anyway. If you look at the LR sump when its off, you will see you can fill the sump, and a bit more, before it will cause a problem, now in my 2.5 the sump takes far more oil than they recommend you put in, so there is some space for error here.
As long as its not so high that the cam is smacking into a bath of oil, or its up to the cylinder walls and being burnt its not a problem.
