filled up with fuel yesterday , drove about 30 miles at 60mph .

whilst driving home at same speeds , noticed engine light had come on ...

pulled into gas station , let cool , checked oil and water .

everything ok , but light still on continuously .

noticed a bit of black residue at tailpipe recently too ... is this related ??
