does anyone know of any cheap tyres 195/80/15 ive got good years on at the moment but want 2 put a cheaper tyre on as time a hard :D

Hi,

you dont say where abouts you are!

Round here I can get 225/55/17(the big expensive jobbys) on a budget tyre for about £85 each, Have just put goodyears on the front at £150 each,

I assume a smaller tyre would be a bit cheaper.

Regards

cheers mate but im looking 4 a cheaper standard size tyre been looking on the net found a maxxis at £45 does anyone know if they r ok

I have maxxis fitted, they a fine, grip well, not noisy, a good cheap tyre. they are fitted to xtrails in Australia as standard I belive.

When I bought my freelander in april 2006 I fitted Kumho all terrain tyres all round cost £200 for the full set including fitting and balancing (thats 2006prices obviously). They were still on the car when I sold it a couple of weeks ago and having covered 26,000 miles they still had plenty of tread on them.

Got mine from King David Tyres in Caerphilly don't know how local you are but they should be around the same price at other outlets.

i've got kumho KL12 on at mo, not bad tyres really, decent grip and all.

think tho could try the federal SS595 tyres next cause it's not like i ever go off road at the moment and they seem good value

Look, you get what you pay for......? I have the original Michelin Synogyn, they have so far done 39000 miles and still have loads of tread. Pay a little extra and get them, you won't regret it.

got a set of maxxis's on my mountain bike! they're good enough on there lol.

not sure what they're like on landys tho.

i've got a set of AT2's on mine, cost me £420 for five fully fitted from blackcircles.

i'v always put part-worns on my cars, they are 'as new' at a fraction of the cost. i know theres a lot of people that wont use em but i aint ever had probs.

i'v bought 195/60/15 bridgestone for £15 each in the past

on the slitty i got 31/10.5/15 (265/70/15) yokohoma allterains (part-worn with delivery milage only) £40 each fitted

bargain
